The Child & The Sleeping Lions - 2D Short Film

The Child & Sleeping Lions is a short animated film based on the Poem written by Helen Cripps.  The animation twists and turns around a child's point of view of the afterlife.  Both traditional hand drawn animation, computer animation and digital compositing were used to create the film.

The style of the film has been developed from early watercolour experiments.  By using a combination of watercolour and digital techniques the film comes to life as if it is a moving painting.
